I am writing this with one hand, so do not be surprised if this post seems short; the upcoming posts will be short as well. I was in an accident yesterday and broke my arm. It frustrates me quite badly because it means I am unable to dance for the time being, as per the doctor’s advice.
To quote what I already wrote to a friend, so I won’t have to retype it:
I was walking home and got hit by a car. I don’t know what happened after. I woke up in hospital, full of bruises and I have a broken arm, so I can’t type that well right now. They believe that I don’t have head injuries, so that is why they allowed me to go home with my parents. What sucks most is that I can’t dance for some time now…
Driver didn’t notice me. It was green for us walkers. Problem of parents with children in car and being in a hurry. Did not watch the road and drove through red light and boom… At least it was not a hit and run, she apparently did not go away but stayed and was the one who called the ambulance, even was at hospital afterwards. Gave up on all plans, same for her children. Promised to also help out in the coming days, so not like a bad person or anything, just truly accident.
There will still be new posts on a daily basis. Just expect my schedule to be different than usual. I have set myself this schedule:
- Monday: dance post
- Tuesday: poetry
- Wednesday: dance post
- Thursday: poetry
- Friday: dance post
- Saturday: personal post
- Sunday: personal post
But right now, it might be slightly different. I will need to see how I feel on a daily basis and whether Emeryk, as a fellow poster, is willing to help out more than expected. I intend to share the poetry certainly, as that’s one of the parts I enjoy very much. A bit of it is due to my older sister writing a poetry blog, and I can impress her a bit with my writing.
Anyhow, that’s it for now. My little update.

I will do what I can. No worries, Aleks.
