Like my older sister Kasia, I have a passion for writing. Today, I’m sharing some candy-themed poetry, starting with a limerick. While it may reflect my young age, I hope you find it enjoyable nonetheless.
Stu’s Candy Dreams
There once was a fellow named Stu,
whose love for all candy was true.
He’d munch on a chew,
or a lollipop too,
and even sneak bites of a shoe (if it was a gummy one, that is).
He’d dream of a world made of sweets,
with lollipop trees lining the streets.
With marshmallow clouds,
and chocolate-drop crowds,
and a river of fizzy pink treats.
He’d befriend a striped candy cane,
and gallop on steeds made of taffy.
He’d build a great throne,
made of jellybeans alone,
and rule his sweet kingdom quite happily.
So if you’re ever feeling down,
just think of dear Stu and his crown.
For in a world of sweets,
where joy always greets,
there’s no need to ever frown.
