End of Sleepless Whispers
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the discontinuation of Sleepless Whispers and my departure from blogging. This decision stems from two primary factors: worsening mental health and pressing family obligations. These circumstances have significantly reduced the time and energy I can dedicate to my creative pursuits, including writing and sharing my poetry here.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all my readers and fellow bloggers who have supported me throughout this journey. Special thanks go to C L Couch and David ben Alexander, whose kind words have been a source of inspiration and encouragement. Your support has been a beacon of light in what often feels like a dimming blogosphere.
As a young writer, I’ve observed a shift in the online creative landscape. The craft of creative writing by young people is increasingly overshadowed by self-promotion and ego-driven content. This trend has led to a noticeable decline in inspiration and support for emerging writers, which is truly disheartening.
For those seeking fresh, young voices in the creative writing sphere, I highly recommend Calmth. This blog is now owned and maintained by my younger brothers, Aleksander and Ilya, along with a small group of other talented autistic young authors. Their work continues to inspire and deserves recognition.
As I prepare to silence these sleepless whispers, I want to express my deepest gratitude once again to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support has meant more than words can express.
It’s now time for me to end the whispers and find rest. As the final whisper fades, I bid you all a peaceful goodnight.
PS: I’d like to highlight Fien, a talented Dutch-Belarusian young author on Calmth, for whom I have immense love and respect. If you decide to support her work, please let her know I recommended her to you.
For those curious about the financial aspect of maintaining a blog, I’ve included a screenshot below showing my basic expenses for domain and hosting. This doesn’t include extras like video hosting.

These costs are a significant factor in the scarcity of blogs by young authors. The financial burden of maintaining a blog can be challenging for many young writers, which contributes to the rarity of such platforms in the blogosphere.
